The Cobalt range offers an extremely robust SD microwave link and is currently being used around the world for a host of broadcasting applications including live-to-air broadcasts and sporting events. It has proven to be a reliable alternative to COFDM systems. Cobalt unique wireless broadcast technology provides a live-to-air microwave link from any camera without ghosting, break-up or interference at a fraction of the cost of traditional digital microwave systems. Cobalt used a unique bi-directional transmission system where each packet of data is acknowledged by the receiver.
