Accu-Chart Set

With an overall size of 10" x 12.5" and an image area measuring 9" x 12" (23 x 30.5 cm.) This set consists of the five most commonly used test charts bound in a protective plastic hard cover. Includes: Resolution Chart, Registration Chart, Black Focus, Color Reference Chart and Grey Scale Chart (Gamma = 2.2, 11 step).

Registration Chart (EIA TYPE)

Similar to EIA standard chart; used primarily for registration. Consists of a black square grid on a white background, includes vertical and horizontal 200-600 TV lines resolution wedges in center and circular figures at corners for evaluation of linearity.

Resolution Chart (RETMA TYPE)

For evaluation of requency response of vide systems. Adapted from EIA Standard chart, includes resolution targets for 200 to 800 TV lines in center and at four corners. Also includes test objects to detect ringing and streaking. Continuous neutral grey background for shading adjustments.

Grey Scale (EXTENDED RANGE, GAMMA = 2.2, 11 STEP)

Similar to GSG9 and GSE charts, except that range of reflectances is 2% to 89% (5.5 f/stops), in eleven steps. Especially suited for use with extended dynamic range ("Electronic Cinematography") cameras. Equivalent to charts recommended by Japanese camera manufacturers for set-up. Includes "dead back" (R< 0.5%) and "super white" (R=90%) center patch for flare compensation adjustment.

High Definition Test Chart

Accu-Chart High Definition test chart is used to make a variety of performance measurements on cameras and other components in both standard current broadcast systems such as NTSC, PAL and SECAM as well as the latest HDTV systems. The chart contains test objects to facilitate the quantitative and qualitative measurement of the following system properties: Registration, Grey Level Response, Frequency Response, Linearity, Resolution, Color Rendition, Focus and Shading. Although the dimensions of the active area of the chart are 16" by 9" (conforming to the 16:9 aspect ratio), our chart can still be used for standard 4:3 aspect ratio systems by imaging the central portion of the chart. This facilitates the measurement of Registration, Grey Level Response and Frequency Response in a 4:3 environment.
